My Mother's Dementia. The latest stage of my mother's dementia, painted at the end of 2011 using theTypedrawing app on my ipad from a photo I took on my phone. She is never still or relaxed enough to pose for something like this. Part of a continuing series as her condition deteriorates. Discovering the potential of the ipad has awakened a whole new stream of creativity for me and working on this series is helping me cope with a pretty awful and relentless situation.
