I've spent most of my working life decorating fairground equipment and the past 15 years using an airbrush to do it. I'm desperately in need of a change and have been developing my digital painting since June of this year. I had used Photoshop for my designs for my fairground work for the last six or seven years but had always been scared stiff of the brush tools and incredibly frustrated when I did try to paint with them. During a slack period for airbrushing I decided to sit down and force myself to learn how to use the airbrush tool in Photoshop.I was initially encouraged and inspired by Ravenheart and have since discovered the work of Linda Berqvist and Natascha Roeoelsli - downloading her Photoshop brushes was a huge step forward .
